Zoe Fay Krcelic

Zoe Fay Krcelic, 86, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020 at the Wayne County Care Center after a period of declining health.

Zoe was born Dec. 11, 1933 in Cincinnati to the late Carl Frederick and Eunice Elizabeth (Merkle) Braun and was a 1952 graduate of Withrow High School.  On July 3, 1954 she married Frank Krcelic and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1999.  Zoe was homemaker and had operated several quilt shops. She had made her home in Wooster since 1976 and over the years she had lived in Richmond, IN, Toledo, OH, Columbus, MS and Leesburg, FL.  She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, The Quilters Group, Tree City Quilters, the Wayne County Home Auxiliary and the Fredericksburg Church of Christ.

Surviving are her children, Dawna (Gary) Sands of Fredericksburg, Lisa Krcelic of Fitzgerald, GA and David (Debbie) Krcelic of Pueblo West, CO; 10 grandchildren, Justin (Jessica) Martell, Joshua (Heather) Martell, Sarah (Dustin) Gessel, Holly (Andy) Stapel, Richard (Sue) DeMaso, Victoria DeMaso, Joseph DeMaso, William Krcelic, Tristin Krcelic and Nick (Erin) Krcelic; 18 great-grandchildren and a brother, Gerald (Jeanne) Braun of Marblehead, MA.

Memorial services will be Sunday, Oct. 25th at 3:00 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Church of Christ with her son-in-law, Gary Sands officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne County Care Center Auxiliary, 876 S.
