William P. Frase, 93, passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2020 after a brief illness with Covid-19.
Bill was born near Rittman on Aug. 29, 1927 to the late Carl and Olive Fern (Sauders) Frase and served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He married the former Evelyn Lance who preceded him in death in 1986. He later married Linda Bishop in 1993 and she preceded him in death in 2008. He retired from the PCA in Rittman in 1985 and had made his home in the Seville area all of his life and enjoyed wintering in St. Petersburg, FL. Bill was a member of Seville Masonic Lodge 74 F.&A.M. where he was a Past Master and the Seville Lions Club. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
Surviving are his son, Steve and Karen Frase of Wadsworth; step-sons, Carl and Kris Bishop of Tiffin and Randy and Michelle Bishop of Fostoria; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a brother, Marvin Frase of Wooster. He was preceded in death by his 2 wives and brother, Harold, Ralph, Merle, Wade, Gordon, Leslie, Robert and Ike.
Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth.
