On May 18, 2022 after several months of declining health, Vivian M. deLuna, left this broken world and found rest with her Savior.
Vivian was born on April 14, 1930 in Adams Township, Muskingum County to the late Burvil and Mabel (Hanks) Lapp and graduated from Coshocton High School in 1948. She had worked at Latex Industries for 28 ½ years and after retiring worked at Subway for two years. She was a member of Seville United Methodist Church where she had volunteered at the church food pantry and was a member of the Westfield Grandmothers Club. Vivian enjoyed bowling and country music shows and will be remembered for her card and letter writing ministry and her homemade applesauce.
Vivian is survived by her children, Vickie Fortney, Jim (Dottie) Bible, Tim (BJ) Bible, Robert Sarver, Sandra Stewart, Al deLuna and Andy deLuna; grandchildren, Bill (Julie) Fortney, Cheryl (Chris) Jensen, Terri (Ed) Cremeans, Billie (Rusty) Raker, Jeff (Michelle) Fortney, Jenny Fortney, Jacob (Angela) Bible, Aaron (Toni) Bible, Cieanna Sarver, Chelsea Sarver, Kiel Sarver, Nicholas Shaffer, Luther Stewart, Riley deLuna and Sage deLuna; many special friends; 3 sisters-in-law and their families; a brother-in-law and his family and adopted grandchildren, Phillip Hampton and Katherine Hampton and the Mejac and Manns families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James Lapp, a sister, Shirley Thomas, a son-in-law, Bill Fortney, Sr. and a grandson, Randy Fortney.
Services will be Tuesday, May 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call on Monday from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery in Seville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691, to Seville United Methodist Church, 74 W.
