Susan Ann Rooney

Susan ‘Suzie/Sue’ Ann Rooney, 69, of Seville, Ohio passed away on May 25, 2021 at Autumnwood Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Rittman, Ohio.  Sue was born on May 11, 1952 to the late James W. Rooney and Marilyn A. Rooney (nee Kreling) of Fairview Park, Ohio. 

Dear sister of Patricia A. Hewitt-Rooney, loving aunt to Mollee M. Hewitt and Joshua J. Hewitt, great aunt to Makayla R. Hewitt and Connor J. Hewitt.

Sue graduated from Fairview High School in 1970, she started her career as a cashier and advanced to management roles at Gray Drug, Rite-Aid, and Medic Drug until 2008.  In her late 50’s, Sue continued her education and completed courses in Medical Billing and Coding, receiving her diploma in October of 2010 from Remington College.

Sue’s kindness, generosity and humor made her the good person she was, always helping others no matter what the circumstance.  She enjoyed her outings with many of “the girls” from work, traveling, family, and gambling.  Sue’s love for pets was where she had some of her fondest times, her smile said it all.  Our love is everlasting, she will be missed greatly.

No visiting hours or services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to the Medina County Animal Shelter, 6334 Deerview Lane, Medina, Ohio 44256.
