Susan Raye (Uhler) Perry

Susan Raye Perry, 50, of Wooster, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, April 9, 2022.  Susan battled Multiple Sclerosis and Gastroparesis with strength, determination and her faith in God.

She was born on July 2, 1971 in Medina and was the youngest daughter of Roger and Georgia (Vannoy) Uhler.  She graduated from Norwayne High School and the Wayne County Schools Career Center in 1989 and later received an Associates Degree in Business from Akron University.  On Nov. 4, 1995 she married James C. Perry Jr. and Jim survives.   She had worked at Wayne Dalton Door and later at Prentke Romich.  Susan was a member of Wooster United Methodist Church where she volunteered and was active in Bible Study.  She volunteered at the Habitat Restore and enjoyed doing pottery.  Susan loved spending time with her family and her two fur babies, Laila and Hank.

Surviving are her husband, Jim; her mother, Georgia Uhler of Wooster, sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth and Todd Nelson of Brighton, MI and Cindy and David Robinson of Creston; sister-in-law, Suzanne Perry and Tim Heppert of Barberton; her much loved nieces and nephews, Jessica (Thomas) Potts, Jared (Brittany) Robinson, Jakob Robinson, Rylee Nelson, Spencer Nelson, Matthew Spencer and Morgan Spencer and great-nieces and nephew, Brayli, Bryla, Rosalee, Jayda and Cade.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Roger Uhler in 2005.

Services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. James Cooper officiating.  Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.   Friends may call Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com   Memorial contributions may be made to Wooster United Methodist Church, 243 N.
