Sonja Jean “Jeannie” Hostetler, 72, of West Salem, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2020 at Lodi Community Hospital after a sudden illness.
Jeannie was born June 23, 1947 in Lorain to the late Hershel and Helen (Harvey) Myers and married James E. Hostetler on Feb. 23, 1974. He preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 2002. She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, yard sales, Cleveland sports and any TV crime show. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids.
Surviving are her sons, Tim (Tracey Davis) Hostetler and Jimmy (Kim Hill) Hostetler of West Salem, Jeremy (Kelly) Hostetler of Sterling and Chris (Lisa) Hostetler of Wooster; grandchildren, Justin, Jacob, Brevin, Bri, Brady, Mari, James, Katie (Eric) Luke, Jordan, Peyton, Alexandra, Quintin and Lauren; brothers and sisters, Hershel (Kathy) Myers, Arthur “Butch” (Cathy) Myers, Deena (Bob) Broadsword, Linda (Nolan) Tanner, Michele (Rodney) Brown and Jackie (Bill) Albright and sisters-in-law, Jeannie, Vicki and Elaine Myers. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and brothers, Jimmy, Terry and John.
Services will be Saturday, Feb. 8th at 4:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until time of services.
