Simon J. Miller, 74, of 7493 S. Honeytown Road, Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
He was born on Nov. 30, 1947 in Holmes County to Jonas and Katie (Yoder) Miller and married Katie J. Raber on April 4, 1968. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving is his wife, Katie of 54 years, children, Wilma (Nelson) Yoder of Dundee, Iva Miller of the home, Mary Ann (Daniel) Hostetler of Apple Creek, John (Mary) Miller of the home, Katie Mae (Lester) Hershberger of Apple Creek, Barbara (Menno) Hershberger of Apple Creek and Naomi Miller of the home; 52 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Andy (Katie) Miller, Levi Miller, Ivan (Ella) Miller and Jonas Jr. (Erma) Miller; sisters, Sarah (Andy) Coblentz, Mary Miller, Edna (John) Yoder, Katie Ann (Raymond) Hershberger, Fannie (Ben) Yoder, Iva (Joe) Miller and Betty (Wayne) Schrock.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Miller; a grandson, Andrew Hostetler, his parents, sisters, Anna Miller and Emma (Levi) Raber, 2 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.
Services will be Sunday, April 24th at 9:00 a.m. at the Miller Residence, 7491 S. Honeytown Rd., Fredericksburg with Bishop Wayne Shetler officiating. Burial will be in Honeytown Cemetery on Honeytown Road, Fredericksburg. Friends may call anytime at the Miller residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
