Sandra Kay Plummer, 69, of Smithville, passed away on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021 at The Avenue at Wooster after a period of declining health.
Sandra was born on Sept. 19, 1952 in Medina to the late Russell and Betty (Chapman) Baker and was a 1971 graduate of Cloverleaf High School. On Jan. 28, 1972 she married William D. Plummer and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2010. Sandra retired from Sealy Mattress in Medina and was a member of the Canaan Free Will Baptist Church. She loved every minute she had with her grandkids and she will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Erica Plummer of Orrville; daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Grant Wenger of Smithville; grandchildren, Hannah and her husband Brendon Meng, Noah Bair, Elizabeth Plummer, Emily Plummer, Elijah Plummer, Keagan Barnes, Shane Christman, Grayson Wenger and Sayge Wenger; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Samuel Meng; a brother, Russell and his wife Robin Baker of Florida; sisters and their husbands, Janice and Edsil Green of Creston, Barbara Baker of Orrville, Wannetta and Bill Yost of Creston and Mary and Mitch Tenney of Lagrange and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, a grandson, Ethan Plummer, her parents, a brother, Ronnie Baker and sisters, Linda Repp and Donella Baker.
