Ruby Bloom Obituary

 

Ruby E. (Stebelton) Bloom, 95, was taken to her eternal home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, at her West View Healthy Living residence, with her three children by her side on June 25, 2021.  

She was born to her parents, the late Arthur W. and Eva F. (Carr) Stebelton, in Bessemer, Pennsylvania on April 8, 1926.  Ruby married the love of her life, Arthur W. Bloom of Wooster, on June 1, 1946, and preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 2006.  She graduated from Fredericksburg High School, worked at the Pottery, Freelanders, and retired as Secretary from the First Church of God, Wooster, under Pastor Keith Snyder.

Surviving are her three children, twins Cathie (Kent) Arthur and Connie (Bloom) Stone of Wooster and Michael (Nancy) Bloom of Clancy, Montana; grandchildren, Cari Cicconetti, Eric Covert, Jason Bloom, Tarah (Arthur) Chupp and Jessica (Stone) Bowling; eight great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and descendants.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Elwood, William, Ernest and Vernon Stebelton, Margaret Rarey, Gladys Kreger,  Corrine Leighty, Amy Amstutz, and Jeanine Lackey.

Ruby loved Christ her Lord, family and friends.  She will be greatly missed!

A private service lead by Pastor Arnie Kaufman was held at the Fredericksburg East Side Cemetery on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com   A special thank you to West View Healthy Living and LifeCare Hospice.  Memorials may be made to the First Church of God, 1953 Akron Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691.
