Richard Duane Wurgler, 49, of Creston, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Lodi Hospital after a sudden illness.
Rich was born on Feb. 23, 1970 in Barberton to Ronald and Darlene (Provence) Wurgler and graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Arizona. He was a self-employed auto mechanic who enjoyed riding Harleys and 4-wheelers and celebrating with family and friends.
Surviving are his fiancée of 6 years, Erin Herman; daughters, Amber (Adam Dye) Wurgler of Creston and Shelby Wurgler of the home; step-children, Ryan of Cleveland and Courtney, Cassidy and Kailyn all of Creston; step-grandchildren, Makayla and Jordan; his father, Ronald Wurgler and spouse of Seville, his mother, Darlene Takacs and spouse of Kentucky; brother, and sister-in-law, Ronald “Arch” and Cathy Wurgler of Seville, sister, Clelia Wurgler of Seville, half-brother, Joe Takacs of Kentucky; his grandmother, Ada Wurgler of Seville and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
