Reuben O. Troyer, 58, of 7739 Township Road 565, Holmesville peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at his home.
He was born Oct. 29, 1960 in Holmes County to Obed J. and Verna J. (Wengerd) Troyer and married Amanda A. Raber on March 18, 1982. Reuben was a woodworker and a member of the Old Order Amish.
Surviving are his wife, Amanda, 4 daughters, Betty (John) Miller of the home, Miriam Troyer of Apple Creek, Linda Troyer of Millersburg and Lydiann (Jonathan) Miller of Fredericksburg; 8 grandchildren, Arlene, Alvin, Miriam, Luann, Arlin, Ina, Regina and Tyson Alan; his father, Obed J. Troyer of Holmesville; sister, Effie O. Troyer of Holmesville; brothers, Allen O. Troyer of Fredericksburg, Roy O. (Ada) Troyer, Ervin, O. (Verna) Troyer, David O. (Esta) Troyer all of Holmesville and Dennis O. (Ada) Troyer of Millersburg, brother-in-law, Melvin J. Miller of Holmesville, and father-in-law, Abe J.C. (Lovina) Raber of Baltic. He was preceded in his mother, Verna Troyer, sister, Iva O. Miller, and mother-in-law, Sara A. Raber.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 12th at 9:00 a.m. at the residence with Minister Lester Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the Wengerd Cemetery in Prairie Township, Holmes Co. Friends may call anytime after 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the residence.. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
