Obituary

 

Reta Keatley, 89, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in Gastonia, NC after a period of declining health.

Reta was born in Bergoo, WV on April 12, 1933 to Cecil A. and Rosa J. (Seabolt) Williams and married John M. Keatley Sr.  John preceded her in death in 1992.  She had made been a sales representative for Sherwood Memorial Gardens  in Wooster and had made her home in Wooster for many years prior to moving to North Carolina to be with her daughter.

Surviving is her daughter, Tammy Seamans and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Reta was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Melody Thomas in 1999, sons John M. Keatley in 2018 and Timothy J. Keatley in 2020; a brother, Jack Williams and sisters, Jean Cutlip, Delores Delany and Audrey Smith.

Reta was buried next to her Husband John at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on April 10th and had requested no services or calling hours.
