Paul L. Schlabach

Paul L. Schlabach, 75, of 3841 Graber Rd., Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022 after suffering a massive heart attack.

He was born in Hadley, PA on July 19, 1946 to Lester V. and Sylvia (Yoder) Schlabach.  He married Amanda E. Shetler on March 28, 1968 and she survives.  He was a member of the Amish Church.

Surviving are his wife, Amanda; seven children, Lester and Edna Mae Schlabach of Fredericksburg, William and Nioma Schlabach of Holmesville, Eli and Esther Schlabach of Fredericksburg, Linda and Dan Shetler of Holmesville Sylvia Schlabach, Marie Schlabach and Miriam Schlabach all of Wooster; 37 grandchildren and brothers and sisters, Mary and Simon Lee of Centerville, PA, Rebecca and Enos Miller, Emma Hostetler, Ella and Atlee Hershberger, Jonas and Fannie Schlabach, Fannie and William Hostetler and Nancy and Ervin Hilty all of Apple Creek, Andy and Laura Schlabach of New Concord and Lydia and Melvin Yoder of Sandy Lake, PA.

He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, a son, Andy, 2 brothers, Nelson and Johnny, an infant sister, Betty, brother-in-law, Jacob Hershberger and step-brother-in-law, Levi Hostetler.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 8th at 9:00 a.m. at the residence with Bishop Joe Hostetler officiating.  Burial will be in the Graber Road Cemetery.  Friends may call anytime after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
