Patricia Ann Hewitt-Rooney

Patricia Ann Hewitt-Rooney, 74, of Seville, Ohio passed away on September 26, 2023 at home from a lengthy illness under the care of family and LifeCare Hospice of Wooster, OH.    Patricia was born on June 4, 1949 to the late James W. Rooney and Marilyn A. Rooney (nee Kreling) of Fairview Park, Ohio. She has been a Seville resident since 1971.

Patricia is preceded in the death by her sister, Susan Ann Rooney in 2021.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Mollee M. Hewitt and son, Joshua J. Hewitt (Megan Hunt), grandchildren, Makayla R. Hewitt, Connor J. Hewitt, and Evelyn D. Hewitt.

Patricia graduated from Fairview High School in 1967, she started her career as a hairdresser. She then joined Bittersweet Farm as a dried floral designer and just had an eye for making beautiful arrangements.

In her late 50’s, Partricia graduated from the University of Akron Wayne College in Orrville, OH with a Associates degree in Business Management.  She worked at Tops, Giant Eagle, and then at Heinen’s until she retired in 2013.

Patricia enjoyed gardening, cooking, spending time with family and friends.  She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

No visiting hours or services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to the Medina County Animal Shelter, 6334 Deerview Lane, Medina, Ohio 44256.
