Mose Yoder Obituary

 

Mose J.S. Yoder, 87, of 6491 Township Road 605, Millersburg, passed away early on July 4, 2020 at his residence after a short illness.           

He was born June 13, 1933 near Millersburg to the late John J.S. and Katie Ann (Hershberger) Yoder and married Anna J. Troyer on Sept. 20, 1956.  He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are his wife, Anna; 8 children, Mary Ann (Roy) Weaver of Fredericksburg, Katie (Dan) Miller of Patriot, Joseph (Alma) Yoder and Edwin (Elsie) Yoder both of Fredericksburg, Verna (Wayne) Miller of the home, Freeman (Ellen) Yoder of Millersburg, John Henry (Wilma) Yoder of Dundee and Bena (Melvin) Mast of Apple Creek; 58 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren  and a brother, Roman (Sarah) Yoder of Apple Creek.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and their husbands, Amanda and Wyman Coblentz and Anna and Abe D. Miller, an infant sister and  brother and his wife, Melvin and Katie Yoder.

Services will be Monday, July 6, 2020 at the family residence with Bishop Atlee Troyer officiating.  Burial will be in the Fryburg Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Holmes County.  Friends may call anytime after 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the residence.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
