Morris Mersing Obituary

Morris E. Mersing, 101, of Medina went home to the Lord Jesus and to join his beloved wife, Evelyn (Eby) Mersing on Monday, July 13, 2020.
He was born on September 12, 1918 in to Walter and Zena (Summerfield) Mersing in Dry Fork, West Virginia and had lived in Medina for 100 years. Morris served in the Pacific Theater for three years during WW II and worked until his retirement in 1980 at Medina Auto Parts.
Morris is survived by his daughter, Sheryl (Floyd, deceased) Blaine of Spencer; grandson, Gary (Amy) Blaine of Akron; granddaughter, Bonnie (Tom) Myers of Rittman and 3 great-grandsons, Nathanael, Jared (Joanna) and Samuel Myers all of Rittman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn in 2004 and a brother, Glen Mersing in 2009.
Private family services will be held at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Joe Williams officiating. Morris will be interred at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
