Mona Sue Morris

Mona Sue Morris, 74, of Wooster went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Avenue at Wooster after a period of declining health.       

Mona was born June 7, 1946 to the late Bona and Georgia (Fettner) Combs and had made her home in the Wooster area for the past 40 years. She had worked at Rexroth and at several stores in Wooster. Mona was a woman of faith and enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking and time with her family.                       

Surviving are her children Johnny R.  Sorrells of Kentucky, David (Dorothy) Sorrells of Wooster, Melissa Shuman of South Carolina and James Sorrells of California; 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a brother Del Combs of Knoxville, TN, a sister, Pauline Nunmaker of Wooster and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two infant sons, her father, Bona, her mother, Georgia Luzader and a brother, Len Combs.                               

Funeral services will be Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 12:00 noon at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
