Mildred Ann (Smith) Miller

Mildred Ann Miller, 88, of Sterling, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 26, 2024 at Smithville-Western Care Center after a lengthy illness with Dementia.

Mildred was born on July 24, 1935 in Clay, WV to Orrville and Alma (Fitzwater) Smith and retired from Crown Steel in Wooster.  She had made her home in Smithville and had enjoyed crocheting.

Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Ben Widmer of Sterling; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Carrie Eagle of McDonald PA; granddaughter and her husband, Larissa and Brian Macko; brothers, Keith Smith of Big Pigeon, WV and Bob and his wife, Nancy Smith of Cleveland and a brother-in-law, Preston Mullins of Big Pigeon, WV.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters, Alonzo Smith, Ethel White, Noel Smith, Nola Deanovic and Sharon Mullins.

Services will be Wednesday, Jan. 31st at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services.  Burial will be at East Chippewa Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
