Mattie H. Stutzman, 86, of Benton, died Wednesday, June 10, 2020 surrounded by her family at the home of her daughter in Benton.
She was born Feb. 22, 1934 near Millersburg to the late Henry Y. and Anna (Troyer) Miller and married John Henry Stutzman on Dec. 11, 1958 and he survives. Mattie was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and David Kline and Sara Ann and Allen Miller of Millersburg; daughter-in-law, Barbara Stutzman; grandchildren, Mervin (Leanna) Kline, John Mark (Miriam) Kline, Carrie (Jay) Byler and Ryan Miller; great-grandchildren, Alex, Eva and Jenna Kline and Everleigh Byler; brothers an d sisters, Joe Miller of Millersburg, Melvin Miller of Millersburg, Clara (Abe) Miller of Millersburg, Mary (Roy) Miller of Quaker City, Lizzie (Melvin) Miller of Millersburg and Ada (Noah) Raber of Mount Hope.
She was preceded in death by sons, Paul Daniel and Mark Allen; brother and sister-in-law, Levi and Anna Miller; Sister and Brother-in-law, Kate and Roy Kuhns, sisters-in-law, Edna Miller and Anna Miller.
Services will be Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at Zion Christian School, 6102 County Road 207, Millersburg with Bishop Alvin Beachy officiating. Burial will be in the Hochstetler Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday after 3:00 p.m. and Friday at the Zion Christian School. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family will observe a no handshaking policy. The family also expresses their gratitude to LifeCare Hospice for the care and their assistance during this time.
