Marjorie Eileen Mohler

 Marjorie Eileen Mohler, 95, of Apple Creek, OH and formerly of New Lexington, OH, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter and son-in-law on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022.

A family graveside service will be held at Community Memory Gardens in New Lexington.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.

Marjorie was born in New Lexington on July 5, 1926 and was the daughter of the late William and Ethel (Horn) Speelman.  On Oct. 4, 1945 she married Carl I. Mohler and he preceded her in death on July 24, 2001.  Marjorie retired from Bryan Heating and Cooling in New Lexington after 30 years of service and her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Ottis Slone of Apple Creek; her grandsons, Tracy and his wife Helen Hicks and Terry and his partner Jill Hicks; step-grandchildren, Ed Slone and Debbie Slone; two great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a grandson, Tony Hicks;  4 brothers, Lawrence, Earl, Fred and Pearl and 2 sisters, Betty and Ethel.
