Margaret I. (Borst) Kuntz

Margaret I. Kuntz, 95, formerly of Akron, OH passed away on Monday, Nov. 13, 2023 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, OH after a period of declining health.
Margaret was born in Columbus, OH on Nov. 19, 1927 to Harold and Susan (Chancellor) Borst.  On March 18, 1950 she married Harry L. Kuntz and he preceded her in death on May 6, 2012.  She graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Education and had been a child care provider.  Margaret was a member of Family of Faith United Methodist Church in Akron, OH where she was a member of the United Methodist Woman and the Keenagers.  She was active in Church Women United, and the Tiretown Treaders square dance club. She was an avid reader. She loved doing crafts and making and sending greeting cards.

Surviving are her five children and their spouses, Robert (Libby) Kuntz, Patricia (Doug) Anderson, Daniel (Anita) Kuntz, Donald (Tammy) Kuntz and Andrew (Kathleen Allen) Kuntz and ten grandchildren, Vincent (Brie Lazar) Anderson, Victoria Anderson, Valerie Anderson, Matthew (Michelle) Kuntz, Sarah Kuntz,  Aaron (Deepika) Kuntz , Anthony (Shelby) Kuntz, Austin Kuntz, Alexander Kuntz and A. Quintin Kuntz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, her parents and a brother, Richard.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 21st at 12:00 noon at Faith Family Church, 800 E. Market St., Akron,  OH, with  Rev. Ron Shultz  officiating. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.   Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster, OH.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Family of Faith UMC, 800 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 or Camp Wanake, 9463 Manchester Ave., SW, Beach City, OH 44608.
