Obituary

 

Louis  “Lewie” Stackhouse, III, 69, of Hawthorne, FL passed away on March 5, 2023 in Hawthorne. 

Lewie was born in Barberton on Nov. 15, 1953 to Lewis “Jack” and Angeline (Sampsel) Stackhouse.  He had worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for an Apartment Complex in Gainesville, FL and was a nature lover who enjoyed fishing.  Lewie is remembered for his generosity to others and his giving heart and he will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his sisters and brothers, Brenda Elliott of Orrville, William (Mary) Sampsel of Florida, Jacqueline (David) Stackhouse-Shoemaker of Bainbridge and Charles Elliott of Florida and several nieces and nephews including special niece, Rainelle Elliott and newest great-niece, Georgia Jean Stackhouse.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Rodney and Randy Stackhouse and nephews, David and Jason Stackhouse

Graveside service will be Monday, April 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the Wooster Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his parents.  Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
