Leslie F. Kwallek, 84, of Creston, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021 at Glendora Health Care Center in Wooster.
Les was born in Stanley, Wisconsin on Jun 13, 1937 to the late Wayne and Edna (Smith) Kwallek. He graduated from Kinsman High School in Kinsman, OH and served in the U.S. Army from 1955 – 1958. He owned and operated LK Fabricating in Medina and had made his home in Creston for the past 25 years. Les was a tinkerer and a mechanic who had a passion for Packards and old cars and he always enjoyed going to car shows.
Surviving is his daughter, Lesley Amber Kwallek of Cleveland; his former wife and friends, Ingrid Kwallek and a granddaughter, Shelby Angel.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emily Angel and his two brothers, Wayne “Bud” Kwallek and Vollne “Von” Kwallek.
A memorial gathering will be on Sunday, Sept. 26th from 2-4 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with a service of remembrance being held at 4:00 p.m. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
