Lena Jean (Harmon) Smead

Creston – Lena Jean Harmon Smead, 54, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Autumnwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a year long illness.

Lena was born Aug. 30, 1965 in Orrville to John and Geraldine (Frame) Harmon and was 1983 graduate of Norwayne High School.  She had worked at Tekfor in Wooster and Rohrer Corp. in Wadsworth.  Lena enjoyed camping, biking, going muddin and coloring.  She loved her grandkids and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her mother, Geraldine Harmon; her 3 children, Amanda Smead, Brandon Smead and Cody Gartin and his fiancée Savannah; her 4 grandchildren, Mekenna, Kaycee, Brody and Reagan; sister, Joanette Harmon and half-brothers and half-sisters, Kathy Jung, Steve Gammell, Kim Barton and Doug Henry and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be Saturday, March 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services.  Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorial contributions may be made to Murray Funeral  Home, 173 S.
