Kim W. King

Kim W. King, 66, of Wooster, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

Kim was born in Wooster on Feb. 13, 1957 to Charles and Luella “Polly” (Young) King and was a 1975 graduate of Northwestern High School.  On Feb. 14, 1981 he married Mary McDonough and she preceded him in death on March 29, 2000.  On Oct. 24, 2009 he married Sandra Macke Clevidence and Sandra survives.  Kim retired from ODOT having worked in Wayne and Ashland Counties and was a member of the Mohican Church of the Brethren.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and shooting and was a member of NRA. 

Surviving is his wife, Sandra; children, David King of Wooster, Christina and her husband Matthew Zamborsky of Wadsworth, Calvin and his wife Aleyna Clevidence of Rittman, Donald Clevidence and Gabe Clevidence;  9 grandchildren, Raylynn and Connor King, Kain and Carrisa Kern, Zachary Zamborsky, Kateri and Bella Clevidence and Grace and Jackson Clevidence; his mother, Polly King of West Salem; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Bill Cox of Medina, Karen and Harold Burgett of West Salem and Kriss and Doug Ott of Ashland and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary and his father, Charles.

Services will be Saturday, April 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Mohican Church of the Brethren with Pastor Paul Bartholomew officiating.  Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wayne County Kidney Foundation, 146 E.
