Katie D. Byler, 67, of 4065 Graber Rd., Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020 after an unexpected illness.
She was born in Millersburg on Aug. 16, 1953 to the late David Y. and Susie (Miller) Byler and was a member of the New Order Amish. Katie enjoyed making greeting cards and sending to family and friends
Surviving are her brothers and sisters, John and Anna Byler of Holmesville, Joas and Martha Byler of Fredericksburg, Anna and William Bender of Middlefield, Mary and Mose Shetler of Fredericksburg, Joe Byler of Millersburg, Susie and Jonas Nisley of Loudonville, and Nancy and Tobias Miller of Fredericksburg; a half-brother, Nevin Byler of Ethridge, TN; sisters-in-law, Mary Byler of Wooster and Anna Byler of Fredericksburg and many nieces and nephews whom she enjoyed spending time with.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jake Byler; half-brothers, Atlee, Norman, Jonathan, Thomas, David and Alvin and a sister-in-law, Marth Byler.
Services will be Saturday, Oct. 3rd at 9:00 a.m. at the Eli Schlabach Residence, 3845 Graber Rd., Fredericksburg with Bishop John Troyer officiating. Burial will be in the Graber Road Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Schlabach residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
