Karl L. Rock, Jr., 69, of Wadsworth, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at his home after many years with multiple illnesses.
Karl was born on Dec. 12, 1951 in Lodi to Karl Sr. and Donna (Reed) Rock. He spent all but the last 10 years of his life in Seville. Karl graduated from Cloverleaf High School in 1970 where he played football and was on the wrestling team. He started a landscaping and tree moving business which he operated for some years and was one of the first to have a tree spade for moving large trees in the Medina and Akron area. Karl also knew all phases of construction and built several homes. To his wife Lorraine of 40 years, Karl could do anything. Karl had many interests through the years including antiques, hunting, fishing and flea markets and he loved talking with people.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; daughter, June “Margo” Rock, son, Jody (Christine) Rock; his mother, Donna Branch, grandchildren, Victoria Lyn, Alayna Sky and Makenzy Rose and a sister, Kathy (Don) Hill,
Karl was preceded in death by his father, Karl Lee Rock, Sr., a brother, Kraig Rock and an infant granddaughter, Allie Lee.
A celebration of Karl’s life will take place on Saturday, July 17th from 4-6 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veteran. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
