Judy L. Wilson, 50, of Rittman, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 15, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer.
Judy was born in Ravenna on Aug. 19, 1970 to James Sr. and Bonnie (Ferrell) Champ and was a 1988 graduate of Rittman High School. On May 18, 1996 she married Bryan E. Wilson and he survives. For the past 26 years, Judy worked at Westfield Companies where she was a Contract Specialist. Judy was an avid bowler having bowled on leagues in Norton, was a former Girl Scout Leader and had been a Book Club Leader at Rittman Library. She loved reading, cross stitching, crocheting, doing puzzles and her beloved dogs.
Judy will be greatly missed by her husband, Bryan; daughters, Stephanie (Eric) Slavings and Jordan Wilson both of Rittman; her three grandchildren, Gabryella-Jaide, Logan and Jude; her mother, Bonnie Champ of Ravenna; brother, James Jr. (Kelly) Champ of Ravenna and three surviving aunts, Mary, Zelma and Ruth Ann.
She was preceded in death by her father James Champ, Sr.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 19th which would have been Judy’s 51st birthday from 4-6 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with a service of remembrance following at 6:00 p.m. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the donor’s choice.
