Judith Susan Reese, 83, of Wooster, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023 at Smithville-Western Care Center after a period of declining health.
Judy was born on June 22, 1940 in Akron to Thomas and Dorothy (Sutliff) Reese and was a 1958 graduate of Norwayne High School. She had worked at Buehlers, The Westfield Companies and as a Home Health Care Giver over the years and was a member of Smithville United Methodist Church. Judy loved to read, travel to the ocean and to Colorado and the Fall time of the year.
Surviving are her sons, Mitch (Michelle) Reese of Wadsworth and Matthew Polk of Wooster; grandchildren, Seth (deceased), Ethan, Aaron and Emily and a great-granddaughter, Penelope.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, Marjorie Coffey, Roger Reese, Donald “Tony” Reese, Sally Sloan, Patty Miller, Harriet Reese, Carl “Skip” Reese and Nancy Reese and her grandson, Matthew Seth Polk
Judy will be laid to rest with her family at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
