Juanita Bolen Swain, 94, of Creston, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Summa Barberton Hospital.
Juanita was born on Jan. 10, 1927 in Sardis to the late Alexander and Loretta (Welchey) Bolen. Always active in and working, she had worked over the years at Ohio Match, American Safety, Latex in Chippewa Lake, TA Truck Stops of America and at Comfort Inn in Seville where she retired form. Juanita was a woman of faith and was an active member of Creston Community Church. She enjoyed reading but her greatest love was caring for people especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children and their spouses, Terry and Donna Swain of Winston Salem, NC, Gerald and Brenda Swain of Barberton and Shirley Tudor of Wooster; daughter-in-law, Melanie Swain of Wooster; 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends including, Patty Murphy, Jamie Dabernig, Clay Arnold, Helen Gray and Dr. Eugene Petrilla who loved and cared for Juanita.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Swain, a daughter, Loretta Swain, a son-in-law, David Tudor, a granddaughter, Angie Swain and was the last member of her large Bolen family, Josie, Nellie, Edward, John, Clyde, Myrtle, Woodrow, Claude, Mattie, Norma, Geneva, Lonnie and Nonnie. They are all together again.
Services will be Saturday, June 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Creston Community Church with Pastor Josh Chaffin officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zwingli Cemetery near Wadsworth.
