Jonas J. Miller

Jonas J. Miller 75, of Fredericksburg, Ohio went home to be with Jesus, on January 17, 2022 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg. 

He was born December 25, 1946 to Jacob H. and Susan J. (Nisley) Miller.  He married Sarah U. Miller on May 4, 1973 and together they shared 44 years of marriage.   He was a member of Salt Creek East Church.  He was a resident of Sycamore Run Nursing Home in Millersburg since April of 2021.

He is survived by his 8 children, Emma (Steve) Yoder of Kentucky, Sam (Susan) Miller of Millersburg, Atlee Miller of Wooster, Joseph (Mary Ann) Miller of Fredericksburg, Daniel (Linda) Miller of Holmesville, Edna (Daniel) Gingerich of Killbuck, Ivan Miller of Killbuck and Jacob (Lydia) Miller of Fredericksburg, and 21 grandchildren, 7 sisters, 5 brothers, 3 brothers-in-law and 4 sisters-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah, his parents Jacob and Susan Miller and 3 brothers-in-law and 4 sisters-in-law.

Services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 19th at 9:00 a.m. at the Joseph Miller residence, 7750 Weaver Road, Fredericksburg with Minister Roy Keim officiating. Burial will be in the Troyer Cemetery, Salt Creek Twp., Wayne County. Family and friends may call anytime on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Miller residence.
