Jill M. Parrot, 89, wife of Rollin Parrot, peacefully passed away with family by her side on Thursday, July 16, 2020.
Jill was born in Benton, OH on April 28, 1931 to Marion and R.T. Menuez and was one of eleven children. She graduated from Holmesville High School, and on July 20, 1952 she married Rollin Parrot. In retirement, she and Rollin traveled throughout the United States and Europe and enjoyed spending winters in their Florida home. Jill was a former Sunday School teacher at Benton Lutheran Church, a member of the Women’s Missionary Society and the Stepping Stones Mother’s Club. Jill was also a member of the Salty Salts Lakeside Ladies Club.
She is survived by her husband, Rollin; children, Fred Parrot, Joy Hendrix, Rosanne (Robert) Rinfret, Arthur (Susie) Parrot, Anita (David) Rohr and the late Pamela; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren will miss all the ways she made each one feel special and loved.
