Jean Hinton

Lynda Jean Hinton, 76, of Creston, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, Feb. 3, 2020 at her home after a period of declining health.

Jean was born Feb. 19, 1943 in Polk to the late Frank and Violet (Norris) Cover and married Rickie L. Hinton on April 6, 1968.  Together they shared nearly 52 years together.  Jean worked at Nabisco Brands in Seville for 20 years and was a member of Food Workers Union 88.  She  was a member of South Main St. Church of God in Rittman and enjoyed traveling, playing Bingo, playing Poker but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Rick; children, Kimberly Davis of Creston, Anthony Hinton of Cleveland, Angel Bigley of Creston and Jerimy (Maria) Hinton of Wadsworth; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren with twins on the way; sisters and brothers, Joyce Burgess of Wooster, Steve (Linda) Cover of West Salem, Ron (Elaine) Cover of Ashland, Liz (Les) Crumley of Burbank and Terry (Dave) Burss of Massillon and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Bill, Danny, Dennis and Bryan.

Services will be Saturday, Feb. 8th at 3:00 p.m. at South Main St. Church of God, 261 S. Main St., Rittman, OH  with Pastors Jeff Ball and Jamie Fryberger officiating.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of services on Saturday at the church.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
