Gary Dean Justice, 74, of Creston, passed away Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital after a period of declining health due to heart failure.
Gary was born in Lodi on Nov. 14, 1946 to the late Lochiel “Blackie” and Eileen (Henry) Justice and was a 1965 graduate of Norwayne High School. From 1965 – 1968 Gary proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War having been stationed in Germany. On May 18, 1974 he married the former Elizabeth “Liz” Arnold and she survives. He retired from Magni-Power after 29 years of service and in retirement he enjoyed attending auctions and feeding and studying the birds. A life resident of Creston, Gary served as the equipment manager for the former Buckeyes Pee Wee program in Seville for 10 years. Gary’s greatest joy was being with his family, especially his grandkids who brought him much joy and laughter.
Surviving are his wife, Liz; his children, Brad (Tara) Justice of Cuyahoga Falls, Jen Dube of Wellington and Matthew Justice of the home; his grandchildren, Ryan Gray, Carlene Dube and Joseph Dube; sisters, Pat (Tom) Gerber and Marla (Jim) Lautzenhiser both of Wooster and three nephews and several cousins.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Aug. 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors’ Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
