Frank Junior Stetson

Frank J. Stetson, 94, of Wooster, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021 at the Apostolic Christian Home after a period of declining health.

Frank was born May 18, 1926 in Sterling to the late Frank and Flossie (Lance) Stetson and was a member of the Sterling High School class of 1944.  Prior to graduating he entered the U.S. Navy during WW II and served from Feb. 15, 1944 until May 20, 1946.  In 2002 he received his high school diploma from Norwayne High School.  He retired in 1988 from the OARDC and had previously worked in vending merchandizing.  Frank was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church and he enjoyed going to auction and yard sales and collecting.

Surviving are his wife, Judith (Carter) Stetson who he married on July 28, 1962; sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip Jack and Wendy Stetson and Richard Lee and Sherry Stetson; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clayton and Clarence and a sister, Clara Reich.

Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Jim Cooper officiating.  Burial will be in Sterling Crown Hill Cemetery.  There will be no calling hours.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
