Emma E. Williams, age 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025.
Emma was born on April 5, 1930, in Columbus, OH to Everett and Cleo (Stertzer) Gallagher. A wonderful mother who raised 10 children, she also worked and retired from Engineer Rubber after 21 years of service. Emma enjoyed spending time outdoors, landscaping, working in her flower beds, feeding the birds and watching the wildlife. She also enjoyed making and knotting blankets and making hats that she donated and gifted to others.
Surviving are her children and their spouses, Diane and Steve Wingenfeld, Dale and Carolyn Shaw, David and Chris Shaw, Carol Maher, LuAnn and John Winland, Craig Shaw, Ralph and Yvonne Shaw, Debbie Shaw, Ramona and Raymond Mohn and Carroll Jr. and Tammy Shaw. Emma had 23 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Havens.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Williams, her parents and two brothers, Ray and George.
Services will be Monday, Oct. 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m.
