Elma A. Shetler, 49, of 9131 County Road 245, Holmesville, passed away Saturday evening, July 25, 2020 at her home.
She was born June 21, 1971 to Andrew and Emma (Hilty) Shetler and attended the Amish Church. She was a special child and attended the Holmes County Training Center and Lynn Hope Industries.
Surviving are her parents, brothers, Levi (Alta) Shetler of Beach City and Dan (Linda) Shetler of Holmesville; sister, Edna Shetler of the home; nieces and nephews, Emily, Leander, James (Sheralyn), Marcus, Rebekah, Timothy, Regina, Michael, Deborah, Jason and Brian Shelter; a great-niece and a great-nephew; a sister-in-law, Susan Shetler, and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends including Cindy Boals and Mary Beth Zuercher.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, William Shetler and grandparents, Levi and Martha Hilty and Mose and Amanda Shetler.
Services will be Tuesday, July 28th at 9:00 a.m. at the Shelter Residence with Minister Mervin Hilty officiating. Burial will be in the Yoder Cemetery in Prairie Township. Friends may call anytime after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
The family would like to thank the staff at Holmes County Training Center and Lynn Hope Industries for all the love, care and help that was given to Elma and the family. Also, a special thanks to LifeCare Hospice for the care given to Elma and family as well.
