Elizabeth D. Weaver

Elizabeth D. Weaver, 102 of 9758 Township road 554, Holmesville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born May 24, 1913 in Mt. Hope to Daniel and Amanda (Yoder) Schlabach and married Monroe A. Weaver on Jan. 4, 1934. Monroe passed away May 17, 1993. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandma to her family. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Roy M. and the late Fannie Weaver of Morris, NY, Daniel M. and Betty Weaver of Holmesville, Wayne M. and Lavina Weaver of Sarasota, FL, Ada and Robert Schlabach of Millersburg, Monroe Jr. and the late Phyllis Weaver of Holmesville, Mary Ann and David Miller Jr. of Millersburg and Eli M. and Martha Weaver of Sugarcreek; a son-in-law, Harry Miller of Sugarcreek; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Weaver of El Dorado Springs, MO; 44 grandchildren 165 great-grandchildren and 53 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Lester M. Weaver, a daughter Fannie Miller, two infant daughter, a grandson, four great-grandchildren, brothers, Abraham, Eli, Emanuel, Wesley and Daniel and sisters, Magdalena, Susanna, Mary Ann, Ada, Lala, Amanda, Saloma and Katie

Services will be Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the James Schlabach residence, 9758 Township Road 554, Holmesville with Bishop Emanuel Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Yoder Cemetery near Holmesville. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
