Douglas D. Arnold, 65, of Creston, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 as a result of an accident.
Doug was born in Meyersdale, PA on Sept. 9, 1955 to the late Charles and Mary (Brandt) Arnold and was a 1974 graduate of Norwayne High School. Doug was always good at what he did and had worked in construction, as a cabinet maker, as a machinist and owned his own body shop prior to retiring. He was a member of Creston Moose Lodge 1224 and enjoyed cutting wood, working around the house, canning, camping fishing and riding his Harley.
He will be greatly missed by his companion and the love of his life, Tina Garton; a son, Tate Arnold; 4 grandchildren, Collin, Kelsey, Jaxson and Harper; Tina’s 2 sons and her grandson; brothers and sisters, Jim (Julie) Arnold, Kathy Lengacher, Tom (Rhonda) Arnold, Dan (Jeanne) Arnold, Sue (Steve) Jusli, Cynthia (Terry) Piatt and Greg (Jenni) Arnold and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Arnold.
Private family services will be held on Thursday at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. There will be no calling hours. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
