Donna Elaine Packard

Donna Elaine Packard, 72, of Burbank, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, May 23, 2022 at the home of her son in Cincinnati after a courageous 12 year battle with cancer.

Donna was born on Aug. 5, 1949 in Barnesville to the late Marf and Edith (Morris) Hettig. She graduated from Skyvue High School and later attended Akron University. Donna married Michael R. Packard on October 7, 1971. Donna retired from the Westfield Company and was a faithful member of Grace Church in Wooster. She enjoyed gardening, music, reading, drawing, traveling (especially to the ocean) and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin and Lori Packard of Mason, Donald and Amy Packard of Cincinnati and Jonathan and Rhiannon Packard of Wooster; her grandchildren Michael, Alex, Madelyn, Perry, Charles and Herald and sisters Carolyn Pittman of Bealsville and Linda Larrick of Cumberland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael on Dec 25, 1985, her parents, a sister, Mary Hettig, and brothers Paul, John and Byron Hettig.

Services will be Friday, May 27th at 12:00 noon at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Tim Broughton officiating. Burial will be in Burbank Cemetery.
