Donald Carter Obituary

Donald Edward Carter, 83, of Apple Creek, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Akron General Medical Center.

Don was born on Sept. 28, 1938 in Shreve and was the son of the late Leland W. and Lura (Wachtel) Carter. He was a man of adventure and humor and he had made his home in Florida before moving back to the Wooster area.

He is survived by a daughter, Cara Miles Lisle; son, Brett (Tish) Miles; daughter-in-law, Carla Miles; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Burgett and Marilyn Lowery and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by son, Donald “Donnie” Miles, his parents and a brother, Chester Carter.

A family gathering and a time of remembrance will be held for Don.
