David G. Flory, 69, of Burbank passed away peacefully surround by his family on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1952 in Lodi and was the son of Fred and Mary (Yapp) Flory. Dave graduated from Norwayne High School in 1972 and on Oct. 8, 1977 he married Julie E. Jones who survives. He was employed at SCS Gearbox PROBELL Racing Products and Dave being an entrepreneur, had established several businesses that he operated. A man with many interests, Dave held a Pilot’s License, was once a Charter Boat Captain on Lake Erie and loved racing cars. With his great sense of humor, he was always entertaining his son and daughter and he loved their many pets which he referred to as his “grandpests”.
Surviving is his wife, Julie; his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Molly Flory of Doylestown; his daughter, Jessica Flory and Tommy Force of Columbus; his mother, Mary Flory of Burbank; a brother, Dan and Linda Flory of Wooster and niece and nephews, Lynette Flory, Ryan Flory, Michael Jentes and Andy Jentes.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Matthew; his father, Fred Flory, a brother, John and a sister, Patricia Jentes.
