Connie Mae Kurjian, 75, of Seville, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Medina Hospital after a time of failing health.
Connie was born Jan. 6, 1945 in Wadsworth to the late Sidney and Hazel (Luedy) Meager and was a 1963 graduate of Cloverleaf High School. On Aug. 27, 1966 she married Jerry Kurjian and he survives. Connie enjoyed watching cooking show, mysteries, and eagles. An avid reader and sports fan, her favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bulls. Connie’s greatest joy was being with her husband, her children and her grandchildren and she will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her husband, Jerry; children, Leah Bowden of Dover, Corey (Susan) Kurjian of Medina and Jeri Mae (Krista Bowden) Kurjian of Seville; grandchildren, Mariah Unger, Sophia Kurjian and Owen Kurjian and sisters, Vivian (Richard) George of Seville and Ellie (James) Byrd of Medina.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Thomas Bowden and grandson, Garret Norris.
Private family services will be held. Connie will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery which was the former Luedy Family Farm and where she spent many childhood days. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
