Obituary

Clyde B. Prentiss, 66, of Akron, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

He was born on April 19, 1955 in Wadsworth to the late Robert and Barbara (Swain) Prentiss and served in the U.S. Air Force.  He had been a truck driver and enjoyed trains, farm equipment and going to auctions.

Surviving are his son, Daniel Prentiss of Wadsworth, granddaughters, Alexis and Addison; special friend Virginia and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Clarence Thompson, sister, Laura Stackhouse and brothers Robert Prentiss and Jay Thompson.

Services will be Wednesday, April 20th at 2:00 p.m.at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Family and friends may gather at Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, OH between 1:00 – 1:30 p.m.
