Carolyn J. Pamer, 86 of Rittman, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2022 after a period of declining health.
Carolyn was born in Creston on Sept. 17, 1935 to the late Joseph and Adra (Shook) Cabell and was a 1953 graduate of Creston High School. She married James Pamer and together they had four sons. Carolyn had worked for 21 years at Rawiga Country Club and later at Applebees in Fairlawn and Wadsworth and at Hawks Nest Golf Course in Creston. Carolyn loved her pets and she was a collector of Fenton Glass, lighthouses and elephants. She enjoyed playing the piano and watching the Cleveland Cavs and she had many fond memories of her trips to the New England States.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy Pamer of Norton, Scott and Djuna Pamer of Rittman, Doug and Mary Pamer of Fairlawn and Shawn and Christina Pamer of Perrysburg; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and sisters, Marlene Wiles of Lodi and Judy Watts of Creston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Jim Pamer and a sister, Barbara Richings.
Services will be Friday, May 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Jeff Ball officiating. Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.
