Carol Sue Snider

Carol Sue Snider, 87, Wooster died Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Avenue at Wooster after a period of declining health.

Carol was born on Nov. 22, 1933 in Benton to the late Foster “Budge” and Freda (Finney) Speelman and was a 1951 graduate of Fredericksburg High School.  On Sept. 9, 1956 she married Harley James Snider and he preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2019.  She had worked at Freedlanders in Wooster and Wayne County National Bank.  She was a member of Apple Creek United Methodist Church and was an avid sewer and quilter. She and Harley enjoyed camping and many trips to the Smoky Mountains.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Timothy and Kim Snider and David and Deborah Snider both of Wooster and Mary and Jeff Ritz of Willard; 4 grandchildren, Corie and her husband Mike Wolley, Krista Snider, Daniel and his wife Kristen Snider and Darrin Snider; 2 great-granddaughters, Reagan Marie Wolley and Millie Snider and a sister, Nancy Lee Carr of Wooster.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother, Harold Speelman, a sister, Phyllis Smith and a step-sister, Nancy Jane Knox.
