Carol J. Sabo.
There comes a time in all of our lives when each must turn the last page. Carol Sabo is now at the end of her earthly story and begins the next one in heaven. On Saturday, April 3, 2021 she was reunited with the one she fell in love with and still loves, Bob Sabo. At this heavenly reuniting were her parents, Roy and Alta (Conkle) Beichler, siblings, Melzina, Gladys, Kathleen, Donna, Raymond, Dale and Kenneth as well as many friends that have also turned the page.
Born on August 7, 1934 in Creston to a beautiful rural setting, she joined her 9 siblings on a farm that offered much to do and much to see. Graduating from Creston High School and then meeting her future husband, the couple married and settled in Lafayette to build a life together and raise a family. Daughter Laurie followed by son Ron became her life which she so dearly loved. Carol went on to help support the family with employment at Westfield Insurance from which she retired. For many years she was a member of Waltz United Methodist Church where she played the piano on Sundays for the enjoyment of the congregation that she loved.
Left to love and cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Mike Piekarski, son, Ron Sabo; grandchildren, Robin Sabo and Renae and her husband Kyle Tietje; great-grandchildren, Trent and Lucy Emery and Macey Tietje; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Helen Beichler and Larry and Nancy Beichler and many nieces and nephews.
A very special thank you to Waltz United Methodist Church for providing spiritual guidance and friendship from the congregation and to St. Edward’s at Wadsworth for their care and compassion.
To honor her life, a service will be Wednesday, April 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Waltz United Methodist Church, 7465 Egypt Rd., Medina, OH 44256 with Pastor Les Buttolph officiating. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, masks and social distancing is requested. Burial will be in the Waltz Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com Memorial donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 28 W. 44th St., Suite 609, New York, NY 10036.
