Beverly Beaver Obituary

Beverly Lynne Beaver, 84, born in Port Clinton, passed away on September 17, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s but an even longer celebration of life and laughter.

Beverly was born on August 30, 1938, to Floyd and Marvel (Allen) Druckenmiller in Port Clinton. Bev graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1958. After high school Beverly went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Ivan Beaver. Bev and Ivan were wed on November 28, 1958. Bev had two children, Rev. Deborah Quillen (Charles) of Coshocton and Kim Beaver of Port Clinton. When Bev had Deb and Kim, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother.

Beverly excelled at being a school mom in the classrooms as Deb and Kim grew. When her children reached high school, she was a constant chaperone on PCHS Marching Band buses and for PCHS orchestra tours. Bev supported the PCHS Band Boosters by organizing and managing the concession stand at football games during those years as well. Bev was involved with the PC Women’s Civic Club and for many years was the Easter Bunny. She delivered Mobile Meals with her best friend Bonnie English for many years. Bev was a member of the PC Lions Club and worked her way to President.

Bev was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church her entire life. She taught 3rd and 4th grade Sunday School for over 50 years. She was a member of Sarah Circle, coordinated Funeral Dinners, sang in the choir, helped chaperone youth retreats and work camps and much, much more.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Marvel, her husband, Ivan, brothers, Rev. Russell Druckenmiller and Lovell Druckenmiller, sisters-in-law Letha Waugh and Martha Beaver and brothers -in-law Jerry Beaver and Major Rev. Richard Beaver.
