Betty Lou Teter, 92, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020 at Burbank Parke Care Center after a period of declining health.
Betty was born July 5, 1928 in Harman, VW to the late Delmar and Annie (Judy) Teter and graduated from Harman High School. She retired from Rexroth in Wooster after 36 years of service and was a member of Connect Church for many years where she taught Sunday School, worked in the Nursery, was a greater and a member of the visitation team. Betty loved to work in her flower beds and she loved to bowl having bowled for over 50 years at Wayne Lanes.
Surviving are her sister, Alice Hartman of Springfield, MO; nieces, Sherry (Kenneth) Plaster, Cathy (Dale) Followay and Karen (Tony) Hollingsworth; nephews, Steven (Sharon) Hartman, Edward Hartman, Larry (Dawn) Hartman and Tracy (Beth Suppan) Teter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Buckingham, a brother, Hallen Teter and a nephew, Wayne Teter.
Private interment services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
