Barbara A. Hershberger, 65, of 4870 County Road 207, Millersburg, died peacefully at home on Monday evening, Jan. 10, 2022 after a two year battle with cancer.
She was born on Feb. 26, 1956 near Millersburg to Andy M. and Amanda (Troyer) Miller and married Eli H. Hershberger on March 3, 1977. She was a member of the Old Order Amish.
Surviving are her husband, Eli; 11 children, Amanda and Eli Weaver of Millersburg, Fannie Hershberger and Effie Hershberger both of the home, Andrew and Susan Hershberger of Millersburg, Esther and Allen Hershberger of Holmesville, Alma Hershberger, John and Mary Hershberger and Martha Hershberger all of the home, Ella and Paul Stutzman of Fredericksburg and Eli Jr. and Linda Hershberger and Miriam and Daniel Bowman of Millersburg; 30 grandchildren; her mother, Amanda Miller; brothers and sisters, Jonas A.M. and Priscilla Miller and Ivan A. and Esther Miller of Fredericksburg, Nelson A. and Fannie Miller of Wooster, Katie A. and Robert Hershberger, Mose A. and Betty Miller and Fannie A. and Daniel Byler of Fredericksburg, Ella A. and Henry Wengerd of Dundee, Andy Jr. and Martha Miller of Millersburg, Alma A. and Ivan Weaver of Fredericksburg, Eli A. and Alta Miller of Millersburg, Esther A. and Freeman Hochstetler and Raymond A. and Katie Miller of Fredericksburg, Vernon A. and Miriam Miller of Holmesville, Mary A. and Atlee Yoder of Apple Creek, Amanda A. and Alvin Wengerd of Fredericksburg and Leroy A. and Laura Miller of Apple Creek.
She was preceded in death by her father and two infant granddaughters
Services will be Thursday, Jan. 13th at 9:00 a.m. at the Hershberger Residence with Bishop Vernon P. Burkholder officiating. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
